MW Championship: Boise State vs Nevada

Boise State men's tennis defeated Nevada 4-3, April 26, to claim the 2015 MW Championship.


OVERALL HIGHLIGHTS: Went 11-12 overall in singles going 4-3 in singles tournaments and 7-9 during team duals ... played doubles with four different teammates going a combined 14-17 overall, 4-2 in doubles tournaments and 10-15 in duals.
FALL HIGHLIGHTS: tallied a 4-3 singles record during the fall season advancing to the consolation championship at the Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational at Midlands, Texas, (Sept. 18-20) ... went 4-2 in doubles in the fall ... reached the ITA Mountain Region semifinals (Oct. 21-25) with partner Thomas Tenreiro.
SPRING HIGHLIGHTS: Recorded a 7-9 singles record during team duals playing primarily at the No. 6 position where he was 5-5 ... defeated Oregon’s Ethan Young-Smith (Feb. 21) at No. 6 singles 7-6 (5), 6-4 and San Diego State’s Raul de la Torre (April 30) 6-3, 6-0 in the Mountain West semifinals at Las Vegas, Nev.


HONORS: All-Mountain West in doubles.
OVERALL HIGHLIGHTS: Recorded an overall singles mark of 16-16 as a freshman going 5-4 in fall events and 11-12 in team spring duals ... went 26-8 overall in doubles including 20-6 in team duals.
FALL HIGHLIGHTS: First action for Boise State came at the Dar Walters Fall Classic when he defeated Eastern Washington’s Eduardo Bringold (Oct. 3) in straight sets 6-3, 6-3 ... won his singles flight championship at the Pacific Northwest Intercollegiate (Nov. 5-7) going 3-0 ... rallied in title match against Gonzaga’s Hayden Smith coming from one set down to win 6-7 (3), 6-4, 6-4 ... went 6-2 in doubles and won the doubles title at the Larry Easley Memorial at Las Vegas, Nev., with Abe Hewko defeating UNLV’s Ace Matias and Denys Pume 8-6 in championship match.
SPRING HIGHLIGHTS: Went 11-12 in singles during the duals season ... played primarily on court five during the season going 9-11 at that position ... recorded a straight-set 6-1, 6-3 victory over New Mexico’s James Hignett in Boise State’s MW Tournament semifinal win over the Lobos in Albuquerque, N.M. (April 25) ... earned a two-set 6-4, 6-2 win in Boise State’s MW Tournament final victory over Nevada’s Mile Cilic (April 26) as the Broncos claimed their fourth-consecutive title ... played with four Broncos in doubles throughout the year but competed primarily with Thomas Tenreiro going 19-6 in spring duals as a tandem, 10-5 at No. 1 doubles and 9-1 at No. 2 ... Tenreiro and Roskilly defeated 60th-ranked Hayden Sabatka and Bart Van Leijsen of New Mexico 6-4 during the Broncos’ MW Tournament semifinal victory on April 26 ... Tenreiro and Roskilly upset South Florida’s 28th-ranked tandem of Justin Roberts and Oliver Pramming 8-6 in the first round of the NCAA team championship at Blacksburg, Va., on May 8 ... the Bronco tandem of Tenreiro and Roskilly finished the year ranked 85th nationally in doubles by the ITA.


A 2014 graduate of Stanborough School in Stevenage, England, where he made a name for himself in the junior tennis ranks ... ranked No. 4 in the United Kingdom, No. 120 in the International Tennis Federation (ITF) U18 world rankings, and top-35 for his age group in Europe ... won two English junior national championships in 2010 and 2013 ... represented Great Britain in European Youth Olympics reaching the quarterfinals in singles and round of 16 in doubles 2010 and 2011 ... represented England at the 2010 Four Nations Tournament ... won multiple ITF junior doubles titles ... won numerous state championships at U10, U12, U14 and U16.
