BOISE, Idaho – Boise State men’s golf head coach Kevin Burton announced the signing of Shane Allor and Logan France to National Letters of Intent, Thursday.

“I believe Shane and Logan are two of the best golfers coming out of Arizona,” Burton said. “They have a lot of great tournament experience, and they have seen an extraordinary amount of success while playing on different tours. We’re looking forward to them joining Boise State next season.”

Allor, from Phoenix, Ariz. (Pinnacle HS), was named the Junior Golf Association of Arizona Player of the Year following a summer in which he captured titles at the Mesa City Junior Championship, the PING Junior Match Play Championship and the Scottsdale Junior Championship.

He also won the JGAA’s Chandler Championship this past summer, and is a two-time winner on Golfweek’s Junior Tour. Allor has posted two top-10 finishes at the Arizona State Championship Tournament.

France, from Tucson, Ariz., has helped lead Canyon del Oro High School to back-to-back state championships during his junior and senior seasons, and a runner-up finish as a sophomore. He finished fourth individually in his final prep campaign, and sixth as a junior.

He captured medalist honors in five matches this season en route to his second-straight first-team All-Southern Arizona accolade. France was also a member of the 2011 Arizona Junior Americas Cup Team, received the 2011 Gary P. Durrenberger Award for posting the lowest scoring average for the season in Southern Arizona and won the 2010 Tucson City Junior Championship.
