Broncos Depart for Stockton

BOISE, Idaho – The Boise State men’s golf team will continue their fall season at the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational, Oct. 26-28.

HISTORY: This will be the second-consecutive season the Broncos appear at the University of Pacific-hosted tournament. Last year, Brian Humphreys finished second, while Boise State finished tied for fifth on the team leaderboard.

SCHEDULE: The tournament will run for three rounds over three days, beginning Oct. 26. Boise State will tee off at 9:50 a.m. (MT).

The schedule for the final two days of the tournament is still pending.

THE COURSE: Play will be held at The Reserve at Spanos Park, in Stockton, Calif. The course will play at par-72, 7,082-yards. The tournament moved from last year’s location of Stockton Country Club.

MIXING THINGS UP: Four tournaments into the season, and this will be only the second different starting lineup Boise State has used this season. Sophomore Mason Schulze will make his season debut, while the core of Humphreys, Hopoi, Eubank and Byers remains the same.

The Broncos used four separate lineups for their first four tournaments of the 2016-17 season.

HUMPRHEYS TAKES THE UNDER: Through nine rounds of play this season, sophomore Brian Humphreys has yet to finish a round over-par.
