Loaded Field Awaits Men's Golf

BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State men's golf team will return to competition at The Jackrabbit, in Valentine, Neb., Oct. 1-3.

HISTORY: This will be the third edition of the South Dakota State-hosted tournament. The Broncos have never appeared at The Jackrabbit before.

SCHEDULE: The three-round tournament will be held over three days - beginning Sunday. Tee times beginning at 8 a.m. (MT) will start the tournament, Oct. 1-2. The final round will begin with tee times starting at 7:30 a.m. (MT), Oct. 3.

LIVE RESULTS: Live scoring will be provided by golfstat.com.

THE COURSE: Play will be held at The Prairie Club golf course. Ranked the third-best course in Nebraska by Golf Digest, the dunes course will play at 7,785-yard, par-72.

THE FIELD: Boise State, South Dakota State, Central Florida, Connecticut, Creighton, Houston, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oral Roberts, Tennessee, Santa Clara, South Carolina, UMKC

The field features three teams receiving votes in the latest GCAA Coaches' Poll (Aug. 26): UCF (RV, 27); South Carolina (RV, 20); Missouri (RV, 1).

LAST TIME OUT: The Broncos are coming off one of the best performances in program history, at the Itani Quality Homes Collegiate (Sept. 11-12). The team took second behind host-Washington State, while setting school records for team low round (second round, 265) and three-round score (820). In addition, senior Donny Hopoi won the first tournament of his career, while leading two other teammates in the top 10 (Skyler Eubank, tied for fifth; Brian Humphreys, tied for eighth).
