EAGLE, Idaho – The Boise State men’s golf team is hosting its first tournament in more than five years, and the team will enter the final round of the Dash Thomas Memorial in fourth place. The Broncos posted a two-round total of 566 (-2) as a team at the par-71, 6,890-yard BanBury Golf Club.

“There are five teams at par-or-better, and 16 golfers under-par,” Boise State head coach Kevin Burton said. “The course is in great shape, and there is some great golf being played. The final round will be a great opportunity for the Treasure Valley to come out and see a great round of college golf and some great college golfers.”

The Broncos boast four golfers in the top 25, including Taeksoo Kim, who is tied for seventh place with a 4-under 138.

Jordan Skyles is tied for 17th with a 36-hole total of 142 (E), and Scott Spiewak and Charlie Marusiak are each tied for 21st with scores of 143 (+1).

Boise State’s Clayton Kosanovich is playing as an individual, and is tied for third place – just three strokes back of the lead. Kosanovich was tied for the lead after a first-round 65 (-6), and followed with a second-round 2-under 69 for a total of 134 (-8).

The final round is scheduled to start with tee times beginning at 8 a.m.
