Moscow, Idaho- The Boise State men’s golf team had a strong showing in their second tournament of the 2006-07 season, in Moscow, Idaho.  Through two rounds the team has a combined score of 575(+1) to tie for fourth place with Utah Valley State.  The Broncos also sit only five shots off the pace second place.

 

The Broncos were led by Nick Travers who shot a 138(-6) to finish the second round tied for fifth but sits just one shot off the led which is shared by four players.  Travers also posted the best round of the day shooting a score of 67 in the second round.

 

Troy Merritt also is in the top 25 after the first day of competition after posting a 145(+1).

 

The Boise State men’s golf team will conclude the Vandal Fall Classic Tuesday.
