Men's Golf Set to Open 2014-15 Season at Falcon Invitational

BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State men's golf team will travel to the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado for the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational Sept. 6-7, the Broncos' first tournament of the 2014-15 season.

The three-round tournament will be played at the par-72, 7,401-yard Eisenhower Blue Course with two rounds on Saturday (Sept. 6) beginning at 8:15 a.m. (MT), and the final round Sunday (Sept. 7) beginning at 7:30 a.m. (MT).

Joining the Broncos and Falcons in the 16-team field will be Air Force JV, Colorado, Colorado State, Nevada, New Mexico State, Northern Colorado, Southern Utah, UMKC, Utah, Utah State, UNLV, UTEP, Weber State and Wyoming.

The Falcon Invitational will be the Broncos' first tournament under the direction of head coach Dan Potter. He previously served as an assistant coach at Washington for the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons, and also played collegiate golf for the Huskies from 2000-04.
