Men's Golf Travels to MW Championships

BOISE, Idaho -- The Boise State men's golf team will travel to Tucson, Ariz., May 1-3, for the 2015 Mountain West Championships.

The three-round tournament will consist of 18 holes each day, Friday through Sunday, at the par-71, 7,144 Catalina Course at the Omni Tucson National Resort.

Tee times are slated to begin each day at 8 a.m. (MT). Opening-round tee times for Boise State are as follows:
10:30 a.m. - David Elliott
10:40 a.m. - Shane Allor
10:50 a.m. - Ty Travis
11 a.m. - Kyle Mitsunaga
11:10 a.m. - Logan France

Boise State is scheduled to play the first round with Wyoming and Air Force, and will also be joined in the field by Colorado State, Fresno State, Nevada, New Mexico, San Diego State, San Jose State and UNLV.

France, a junior, boasts a scoring average of 73.62 for the 2014-15 season. He has four top-25 finishes this year, including one in the top 10.

Mitsunaga, a sophomore, has recorded two top-10 finishes this season, and has the best scoring averaging of the team at 73.00 strokes per round.

Travis, a senior, notched five top-25 finishes this season, including three in the top 10, while averaging 73.34 strokes per round.

Allor, a junior with a scoring average of 74.11 through 26 rounds, recorded four top-25 finishes in his six spring season tournaments, with one in the top 10. Elliott, a junior, is averaging 74.88 strokes per round.
