Kim Leads Broncos at Cowboy Classic
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Boise State junior Taeksoo Kim rode a career-low, second-round 66 (-4) to a 28th-place finish at the Cowboy Classic, Tuesday.

Kim posted rounds of 71 (+1), 66 (-4) and 73 (+3) at the three-round tournament, finishing with a 54-hole total of 210 (E) at the par-70, 7,133-yard Talking Stick Golf Club. For the third time in four tournaments this spring, Kim missed the top 25 by just one stroke.

One stroke back of Kim was senior Scott Spiewak, whose three-round total of 211 (+1) earned him a share of 38th.

The Broncos finished 18th, posting a team score of 858 (+18).

Rounding out the scoring were freshman Jon VanDyk (216; +6), junior Clayton Kosanovich (223; +13) and redshirt junior Charlie Marusiak (224; +14).

Boise State will play one more tournament before competing in the Mountain West Championships (May 4-6) - the Cougar Classic in Provo, Utah, April 27-28.
