Men's Golf to Tackle Chambers Bay

BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State men's golf team will travel to Seattle to compete in the inaugural Redhawk Invitational, April 6-8.

The tournament, hosted by Seattle University, will be played at the par-70, 7,047-yard Chambers Bay Golf Club, and will consist of two rounds Monday and the final round Tuesday.

Chambers Bay is also the site of the 2015 U.S. Open Championship, where the best golfers in the world will compete for one of golf's four majors.

The tournament will begin Monday, with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. (MT). The final round will also begin with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.

Joining the Broncos and Redhawks in the 18-school field will be UCLA (15th) and Washington (17th), each of which currently ranks in the top 20 of the Golfstat rankings. The other schools competing will be Arizona, Arizona State, Cal State Northridge, Denver, Long Beach State, Nevada, North Carolina State, Northern Colorado, Northern Illinois, Oregon State, Pepperdine, San Diego, Seton Hall and St. John's.
