Day Two Results Get Acrobat Reader

PRINCEVILLE, Hawai'i - Boise State junior men's golfer Ty Travis posted a second-straight sub-par round at the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational Tuesday, moving into a tie for 12th in the final tournament of the fall season.

Travis followed Monday's opening-round 2-under 70 with a 3-under 69 Tuesday, and at 139 (-5) will enter the final round two strokes back of the top 10 at the 7,223-yard Princeville Makai Golf Club at the St. Regis Princeville Resort.

He had back-to-back bogeys on Nos. 3 and 4, but followed with an eagle on the par-5 fifth - which played as the course's toughest hole, Tuesday.

Travis played the remaining 13 holes at 3-under, including four birdies.

Redshirt senior Jordan Skyles also fired a sub-par round Tuesday, recording six birdies en route to a 1-under 71. Skyles is at 148 (77-71, +4) through two rounds of the tournament.

Boise State shot 289 (+1) as a team Tuesday, moving into 15th with a two-day total of 583 (+7).

Cal State Fullerton leads the tournament with a 546 (-30).

Rounding out the scoring for the Broncos were freshman David Elliott (73-76--149, +5), sophomore Logan France (74-76--150, +6) and sophomore Shane Allor (79-73--152, +8).
