Kim Leads Broncos at Fall Finale
KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – Boise State senior men’s golfer T.K. Kim finished tied for 19th at the Wendy’s Kiawah Classic Tuesday, leading the Broncos in their final event of the fall season.

Kim fired rounds of 72-75-75 at the par-71, 7,011-yard Turtle Point Golf Course at Kiawah Island Resort, finishing with a three-round total of 222 (+9). He notched his fifth top-20 effort in as many tournaments this fall.

Kim will enter the 2013 spring season just one top-25 finish short of cracking Boise State’s all-time list. His scoring average of 72.67 through 15 rounds this fall qualifies as the seventh-best single-season mark in school history.

The Broncos finished in 18th as a team in the 26-school field following scores of 300-322-300 (922, +70).

Rounding out the scoring for the Broncos were senior Clayton Kosanovich (73-82-75—230, +17), sophomore Jon VanDyk (80-81-74—235, +22), redshirt junior Jordan Skyles (75-84-81—240, +27) and redshirt senior Charlie Marusiak (82-87-76—245, +32).

VanDyk’s final-round 74 (+3) was his lowest score of the tournament and led the team on the last day of the event.

Boise State will continue its season next spring, opening with the Thunderbird Invitational in St. George, Utah, Feb. 11-12.
