PARK CITY, Utah - Sophomore men's golfer Kyle Mitsunaga concluded the Utah Ogio Invitational in third place Tuesday, marking his career-best finish as a Bronco.

Mitsunaga recorded two eagles in the final round en route to a 4-under 67, the second lowest score of the round overall. After beginning the day tied for 12th place, he completed the tournament just one stroke shy of first place honors. Mitsunaga finished with a three-round total of 211 (72, 72, 67-- -2) at the par-71, 7,130-yard Jeremy Golf and Country Club in Park City, Utah.

Junior Logan France finished tied for 21st place and three strokes back from the top 10, with a 54-hole total of 218 (70, 76, 72-- +5).

The Broncos completed the tournament in fourth place as a team with a total of 1095 (358, 368, 370-- +30), marking Boise State's best finish so far this season. Santa Clara shot an even-par 1065 to win the tournament.

Head coach Dan Potter commented, "I am really proud of Kyle, he was awesome today. For the team to finish fourth with Ty struggling the way he did was encouraging. Logan France and Shane Allor get better with each event. We get a break now, and I'm looking forward to getting to work with these guys."

Rounding out the scoring for the Broncos were junior Shane Allor (75, 73, 73-- 221, +8), freshman Tristan Rohrbaugh (76, 70, 78-- 224, +11), senior Ty Travis (77, 79, 73-- 229, +16) and sophomore David Elliott (80, 75, 74-- 229, +16).

Next up for the Broncos will be the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational in Kauhi, Hawaii, Nov. 4-6.
