Day Two Results

VALENTINE, Neb. -- For the second consecutive day, all five Boise State men's golfers shot under-par to remain in fourth place at The Jackrabbit, Tuesday.

The Broncos are one of two teams in the field to have their entire lineup under-par as only three strokes separate the No. 1 golfer from the No. 5 golfer for the team.

As a team, Boise State has shot a combined 555 (278-277, -21).

"Another solid day today," head coach Dan Potter said. "Brian played a great round. Donny has been great. Jake Byers keeps getting better and better each day lately, and our freshmen continue to impress me. Obviously there are some low scores being shot on this course, and we'll need another great day tomorrow, but we're playing well and we have a chance. That's what we wanted."

Brian Humphreys leads the way for the team in a tie for 14th with a score of 138 (71-67, -6). The sophomore shot 5-under on the day to move 20 spots up the leaderboard.

Senior Donny Hopoi (70-69) and freshman Jun Ho Won (68-71) are a stroke behind Humphreys in tied for 18th (139, -5).

Jacob Byers (69-71 -- 140, -4) and Skyler Eubank (71-70 -- 141, -3) round out the scoring for Boise State.

The third and final round will begin with tee times tomorrow, at 7:45 a.m. (MT). Live results will be provided by golfstat.com.
