FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Boise State senior men’s golfer Taeksoo Kim is tied for eighth place after the opening 36 holes of the Ram Master Invitational, Monday. He enters Tuesday’s final round one stroke back of the top five, and will be looking for his second top-10 finish in as many tournaments to start the 2012-13 season.

Kim posted rounds of 73-70 at the par-70, 7,121-yard Fort Collins Country Club, and is one of four golfers tied with a 36-hole total of 143 (+3). Nevada’s Zak Griffiths leads the tournament with a 3-under 137.

Kim finished tied for fourth at the season-opening Itani Quality Homes Collegiate in Pullman, Wash., last week.
