PALO ALTO, Calif. -- Boise State junior men's golfer Logan France led the Broncos on the final day of The Goodwin in Palo Alto, Calif., finishing the 54-hole tournament 2-over.

France recorded the best final-round score for the team, concluding the round with a 3-under 67 after back-to-back birdies on holes 15 and 16 at the par-70, 6,727-yard Stanford University Golf Course. He completed the tournament with a three-round score of 212 (+2).

The Broncos finished in 22nd place as a team Saturday, recording a three-day total of 876 (+36). No. 32 SMU and No. 38 UAB each shot 817 (-23) in order to share first place honors.

"This was a big week for us. We had a chance to take a big step forward against some tough competition and we didn't get it done, so that's disappointing. We had some good moments but we need to figure out how to execute more consistently," head coach Dan Potter said.

Senior Ty Travis (74, 76, 69-- 219, +9), sophomore David Elliott (72, 75, 77-- 224, +14), junior Shane Allor (74, 72, 78-- 224, +14) and sophomore Kyle Mitsunaga (72, 76, 77--225, +15) rounded out the scoring for the Broncos.

Boise State continues its spring season at the Redhawk Invitational in University Place, Wash., April 6-7.
