France Leads Trio in Top 25 at Sacramento State

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Sophomore Logan France is tied for 13th after the first day of the Sacramento State Invitational Monday, one of three members of the Boise State men's golf team in the top 25.

France carded rounds of 72-74 at the par-72, 7,009-yard Valley Hi Country Club, and is one stroke back of the top 10 with a 36-hole total of 146 (+2).

Loyola Marymount's Lawrence Ree leads the tournament with a 4-under 140.

Junior Ty Travis is tied for 21st after posting back-to-back rounds of 74 (148, +4), and redshirt senior Jordan Skyles is tied for 24th with a 149 (73-76, +5).

Boise State is in seventh place as a team following back-to-back rounds of 9-over 297 (594, +18). LMU leads the event with a team score of 575 (-1).

Freshman David Elliott is tied for 32nd at 151 (78-73, +7), two strokes back of the top 25. Redshirt junior Minwoo Park rounded out the Bronco contingent with a 164 (85-79, +20).

The final round is scheduled to begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. (MT), and live results are available at Golfstat.com.
