Dec. 22, 2015

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Boise State and Northern Illinois, one day before they meet in the 2015 Poinsettia Bowl, attended the Team Luncheon on the U.S.S. Midway.

The Broncos and Huskies face off Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. MT at Qualcomm Stadium, with the game set to be televised on ESPN. Nearly 24 hours before kickoff, the teams came together at the Poinsettia Bowl's Team Luncheon where each head coach, Bryan Harsin for Boise State and Rod Carey for Northern Illinois, addressed the assembled audience.

Before the luncheon, Harsin and Carey held court at a press conference, taking questions from the assembled media before the game. From there, the teams headed to the U.S.S. Midway museum where they were treated to a concert from each team's marching band before the lunch and program.

Team captains Darian Thompson and Marcus Henry addressed the crowd on behalf of the team, along with Harsin and Boise State University President Dr. Bob Kustra. Redshirt defensive tackle Justin Taimatuia also addressed the crowd after he was selected by his teammates as the Bronco recipient of the bowl's Most Inspirational Award.

From there it was all business as the team returned to its hotel to continue final preparations for Wednesday's Poinsettia Bowl.
