BRONCO NATION HUB IN SCOTTSDALE Boise State Athletics and the Bronco Athletic Association have partnered with Fox Sports Grill in Scottsdale as the Bronco Nation hangout during the week of the Fiesta Bowl. Fox Sports Grill is located in Scottsdale and will host the nightly 6 pm - 7 pm KIDO radio show featuring play by play announcer Bob Behler and special guests. All Bronco fans are encouraged and welcome to attend the show nightly. Fox Sports Grill will be offering Bronco specials throughout the week, and Boise State will have raffle prizes and giveaways nightly as well. BRONCO NATION FIESTA BOWL KICK-OFF PARTY With most Fiesta Bowl travelers arriving in the Phoenix area on the first or second of January, a Bronco Nation Kick-off event is planned in conjunction with the Bronco Nation Hub locale at Fox Sports Grill in Scottsdale on the night of Saturday, January 2nd. The nightly KIDO radio show begins at 6:00 p.m. on January 2nd, but Bronco specials and activities will begin at 5:00 p.m. Join the cheerleads, marching band, Buster Bronco, former Bronco players and blue and orange clad fans for a fun start to weekend activities. And, look close when in attendance as there might be a glimpse of a famous football game that took place three years ago in Glendale playing on the TV screens in the Fox Sports Grill, as well as celebrities from that game. 39TH ANNUAL FORT MCDOWELL FIESTA BOWL PARADE The Fort McDowell Fiesta Bowl Parade takes place in central Phoenix from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 2nd. This time-honored Valley tradition features a dazzling array of colorful floats, magnificent helium balloons, harmonious marching bands and spirited specialty and equistrian units. Included in this year's parade will be the Boise State Keith Stein Blue Thunder Marching Band and Boise State cheer squad and Harvey Neef Mane Line Dancers. Bronco Nation traveling fans are invited to attend the event, which regularly has residents and visitors alike lining the two-mile Parade route in central Phoenix to witness this spectacular celebration. BRONCO NATION PEP RALLY On Sunday, January 3rd, a Bronco Nation Pep Rally is planned at Tempe Beach Park in Tempe. Doors open at 3:00 p.m., with the program starting at 4:00 p.m. Head Coach Chris Petersen and team captains Kyle Wilson and Richie Brockel will be on hand and address the pep rally crowd. Additionally, the Blue Thunder Marching Band and Boise State cheerleaders and Havey Neef Mane Line Dancers will perform, as well as a few other Bronco Fiesta Bowl surprises. Following the pep rally, mingle in Tempe's Mill District with thousands of other Bronco fans for shopping, restaurants and night before game day fun, mark your Fiesta Bowl calendar for that date. WHAT COLOR DO BRONCO FANS WEAR? To avoid a color clash with TCU fans wearing purple, orange is the color of choice for Bronco fans at the 2010 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. Like three years ago, Boise State is designated as the visiting team for the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl and will be wearing their visiting white jerseys.
