Moore Named Nation's Top Quarterback
Boise State redshirt senior Kellen Moore was named college football's best quarterback by the Touchdown Club of Columbus, marking the second-straight season he has received the honor. To honor the quarterback with the most career wins in college football history, the award will be named the Kellen Moore Award beginning in 2012.
Moore completed a school-record 300 passes for more than 3,500 yards and 41 touchdowns – also a school record - in 2011. His completion rate (.741) was the best in college football and helped earn him Mountain West Offensive Player of the Year honors.

More importantly, Moore became the all-time leader in victories by a starting quarterback. He ranks second behind Houston's Case Keenum in career touchdown passes (140) and is fourth all-time in passing yards (14,374) heading into his final game against Arizona State at the MAACO Bowl Las Vegas.
Moore joins Matt Leinart (USC) and Ken Dorsey (Miami) as the only players to win the award twice.
The 57th Touchdown Club of Columbus Awards Banquet is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012 at the Lifestyle Communities Pavilion in downtown Columbus. For additional information concerning the Club and its 57-year history, visit
