Boise State has a three-game winning streak in postseason bowl games, and a record of 8-4 in bowl games as a Football Bowl Subdivision member.
The Broncos completed their 2012 regular season yesterday (Dec. 1) with a 27-21 victory at the University of Nevada. Boise State is a co-champion of the Mountain West Conference with San Diego State and Fresno State. All three teams posted a league record of 7-1.
"We are excited to return to the MAACO Bowl Las Vegas and face the University of Washington," Bronco Head Coach Chris Petersen stated. "Coach Sarkisian and his staff do an excellent job in preparing their team and we look forward to the challenge of playing a Pac-12 opponent for the second straight year."
Washington completed its regular season with an overall record of 7-5 and finished fourth in the North Division of the Pac-12 with a 5-4 record. The Huskies dropped their regular finale with a 31-28 overtime loss at Washington State on Nov. 23.

The teams will make it back-to-back games against each other as the Broncos and Huskies are scheduled to open the 2013 season in Seattle on Aug. 31 (Saturday).
