National Polls (Week 14)

BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State football team had a big week in the national rankings, finding itself in the top 25 for the first time all season in the Associated Press, Amway Coaches and College Football Playoff Polls.

The Broncos first checked in at No. 25 in the Amway Coaches Poll Sunday and later that afternoon entered the Associated Press Poll in the same slot. By entering the Top 25 Boise State has now been ranked in the national polls for at least one week in each of the past 13 seasons.

The news got even better for Boise State Tuesday evening, as the Broncos debuted in the College Football Playoff Top 25 at No. 23. The highest-ranked "Group of Five" team in the committee's final regular-season poll (Dec. 7) earns a guaranteed spot in one of three "New Year's Day" bowls (Cotton, Peach, Fiesta).

Boise State hosts Utah State Saturday night at Albertsons Stadium in its regular-season finale, with kickoff set for 8:15 p.m. on ESPN2. A Bronco win would clinch the Mountain Division and a spot in the Sports Authority Mountain West Football Championship.
