Boise State Athletics is encouraging all fans traveling to Logan for Friday night’s Bronco football game against Utah State to gather Friday morning to form the “Bronco Fan Caravan”.

In a show of travel unity for the football team, the caravan will head out to Logan from the Bronco Stadium parking lot.  Travelers are asked to begin arriving at 8:30 a.m. and proceed to the West Side Bronco Stadium Parking Lot near the Stadium Bronco Shop.  The Bronco Fan Caravan will depart via a police escort at 9:00 a.m.

All vehicles in the caravan are encouraged to fly Boise State car flags and place Bronco car magnets, stickers, plate covers and hood ornaments on their vehicles.  The Stadium Bronco Shop will open at 7:00 a.m. and have a 2-for-1 special (buy one, get one free) on car flags and 25 percent off all other car accessories on Friday morning for all caravan travelers.  There will also be specials on winter weather merchandise for those heading to Logan, and Bronco fans are asked to WEAR ORANGE for the game on Friday night.

Among the leaders of the Bronco Fan Caravan will be the K-Dub RV, driven by the family and friends of Boise State senior cornerback Kyle Wilson.  The RV is wrapped in blue and orange and with pictures of Kyle Wilson, and is a regular at all Bronco road games.

For those who have not purchased game tickets for Friday night’s game and would still like to travel down, tickets can be purchased by calling the Utah State ticket office at (435) 797-0305 or 1-888-U-STATE-1 (1-888-878-2831).  Caravan travelers must have their own tickets for the game.

Bronco fans who are not traveling to Logan are also welcome to participate by coming to Bronco Stadium for the departure or lining up along Broadway to I-84 to cheer on the caravan.  For armchair travelers, Boise State Athletics will be providing caravan updates with pictures, video and blogs through,, and throughout the trip to Logan.

The sixth-ranked Broncos meet Utah State in a 7:30 p.m. kick-off Friday night.  The game will be shown live nationally on ESPN2.
