Boise State Moves Back to No. 3 in all Three Major Polls

            BOISE, Idaho - Following its 38-point (52-14) win over the University of Idaho this past Friday (Nov. 12), Boise State University has moved back to the No. 3 position in the USA Today Coaches, Associated Press and Harris Interactive polls.

            TCU was third in all three polls last week and drops to fourth this week. 

            The Broncos remained fourth in the Bowl Championship Series standings, but did cut the margin behind third place TCU to 332 points (.8966 to .8634).  In last week's BCS standings TCU held a 597 point lead (.9259 to .8662) over Boise State.

            The University of Oregon continues to hold on to the No. 1 ranking in all three polls, and the BCS standings over No. 2 Auburn University. 

            Boise State picked up two additional first place votes in each poll this week.  The Broncos have five first place votes in the coaches' poll, nine in the AP poll and 11 in the Harris poll. 

            The coaches and Harris polls make up two-thirds of the scoring for the BCS Standings.  The other third is made up of an average of six computer rankings.  Boise State fell one spot to sixth in this week's computer rankings. 

            Next up on the Bronco schedule is another key Western Athletic Conference game this Friday (Nov. 19) at Bronco Stadium against Fresno State.  Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. (MT) with the game being broadcast nationally on ESPN2.
