            BOISE, Idaho Ian Johnson, sophomore running back for the Boise State University football team, remains in a Bay Area hospital following an injury he suffered during the Broncos’ 23-20 win over San Jose State University.

            Johnson, who leads the country in scoring with 21 touchdowns, suffered a partially collapsed left lung sometime during the game on Saturday (Nov. 11).  Johnson will remain at O’Connor Hospital in San Jose, Calif. until at least Tuesday (Nov. 14) before returning to Boise.

            Johnson’s status for the Broncos final home game of the regular season this Saturday (Nov. 18) against Utah State University is yet to be determined.
