Broncos Visit Pearl Harbor
Nov. 11, 2016

HONOLULU- Boise State took some time from its preparation for Saturday's game at Hawai'i to visit Pearl Harbor on Veterans Day, getting an important opportunity to learn about a seminal moment in U.S. history.

The Broncos arrived at Pearl Harbor after practice at Aloha Stadium, with the players and staff going their own ways to explore the grounds and learn about the Dec. 7 attack on the Naval base which brought the United States into World War II 75 years ago.

The team then watched a short film detailing the attack and its aftermath before boarding a boat and cruising to the U.S.S. Arizona Memorial. There, the Broncos paid their respects to the crewmembers of the U.S.S. Arizona who lost their lives in the attack, and took in the solemnity of the memorial and the moment.

No. 22 Boise State (8-1, 4-1 MW) faces Hawai'i (4-6, 3-3 MW) Saturday at 5 p.m. MT on CBS Sports Network.
