BOISE, Idaho -- The Boise State University football team moved up in all four national polls on Sunday (Nov. 4) as the Broncos improved their overall record to 8-1 following their 42-7 win over San Jose State University this past Saturday (Nov. 3).
Boise State is ranked 19th in the USA Today Coaches poll, the Associated Press media poll and the Harris Interactive poll. In the all important Bowl Championship
Series, which decides which teams will play for the national championship and the other four BCS bowl games, the Broncos moved to No. 20 after being ranked 22nd last week.
Ohio State University is again ranked No. 1 in all four polls and have the top record in the country at 10-0. LSU and the University of Oregon are ranked No. 2 and No. 3, respectively, in all four polls.
Boise State will look to move up in the polls this coming Saturday (Nov. 10) when it travels to Logan, Utah to take on Utah State University in a Western Athletic Conference game. Kickoff is 1:07 p.m. (MT).
