Boise State In The NFL: Week 8

BOISE, Idaho - A pair of Boise State offensive-line alumni helped anchor earth-moving performances as Week Eight of the NFL season wrapped Monday. Tackle Ryan Clady (Denver) and guard Daryn Colledge (Miami) each helped open holes and spring their respective ball carriers to significant gains, as both clubs ran for over 100 yards in victorious efforts.

Below is a roundup of how the Broncos fared this past week.

Richie Brockel (2006-09) - TE/FB - Carolina Panthers
Carolina placed Brockel on injured reserve on Oct. 6, ending his 2014 season.

Ryan Clady (2005-07) - LT - Denver Broncos
Clady started at left tackle in Denver's 35-21 victory over San Diego in an AFC West showdown. Anchoring the Bronco line, Clady was a big part of a day in which the Broncos rushed for 139 yards (109 by Ronnie Hillman) and quarterback Peyton Manning was not sacked all afternoon.

Daryn Colledge (2002-05) - LG - Miami Dolphins
Colledge started at left guard in Miami's 27-13 win over Jacksonville. Behind the protection of Colledge and the Dolphin line, Dolphins backs ran for 148 yards on 24 carries.

Tyrone Crawford (2010-11) - DE - Dallas Cowboys
Crawford started at defensive end for the Cowboys in Monday night's 20-17 overtime loss to Washington. He made four tackles (two solo), including one for loss in the defeat.

George Iloka (2008-11) - S - Cincinnati Bengals
Iloka started at strong safety in Cincinnati's 27-24 win over Baltimore Sunday. Iloka made five tackles (two solo) and in the game's final seconds drew a key offensive pass interference penalty that negated a go-ahead Baltimore touchdown.

Jeron Johnson (2007-09) - SS - Seattle Seahawks
Johnson saw action in the Seahawks' 13-9 win over Carolina.

Demarcus Lawrence (2012-13) - DE - Dallas Cowboys
Lawrence (broken foot) was placed on the injured reserve/designated to return list by Dallas on Sept. 2. Lawrence returned to practice last week and is eligible to be activated and play this Sunday against Arizona.

Charles Leno, Jr. (2010-13) - DE - Chicago Bears
Leno, Jr. was inactive for Sunday's 51-23 loss to New England.

Doug Martin (2008-11) - RB - Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Martin started at running back for Tampa Bay on Sunday, rushing for 27 yards on 10 carries and catching two passes in a 19-13 loss to Minnesota.

Shea McClellin (2008-11) - LB - Chicago Bears
McClellin saw action in Chicago's 51-23 loss to New England Sunday, making seven tackles (two solo) including one for loss.

Kellen Moore (2008-11) - QB - Detroit Lions
Moore, Detroit's third-string quarterback, was inactive for Sunday's 22-21 win over Atlanta in London.

Orlando Scandrick (2005-07) - CB - Dallas Cowboys
Scandrick started at cornerback for Dallas in its 20-17 overtime loss to Washington, making four solo tackles and batting away a pass, which he followed with this...

Jamar Taylor (2006-09) - CB - Miami Dolphins
Taylor saw action in Sunday's 27-13 win over Jacksonville, making three solo tackles.

Kyle Wilson (2006-09) - CB - New York Jets
Wilson saw action in Sunday's 43-23 loss to Buffalo, making three solo tackles including his first quarterback sack of the season.

Billy Winn (2008-11) - DE - Cleveland Browns
Winn missed his third straight game Sunday due to a quadriceps injury.
