BOISE, Idaho - At this Saturday's (Oct. 31) football game against San Jose State, Boise State University plans to implement a new service to enhance the guest services program, along with a change to the re-entry policy at Bronco Stadium. Kickoff for the game is 1:07 p.m. (MT).
Boise State will be implementing a text messaging service similar to ones currently used at other major college venues and NFL stadiums. The system provides fans with direct communication to game security and operations staff. Examples would be: spilled drinks, unruly fans or something else that would need immediate attention. This real time system will allow operation officials to quickly address issues and help insure fans a great experience at Bronco Stadium.
Fans will simply text 208-991-FANS (3267) and their message will go directly to the game operation's command post. The text number will also be promoted on signage throughout the stadium.
In regards to re-entry, fans will notice a slight difference in the way re-entry to the stadium is managed. If fans leave the stadium and return later in the game, they will now be directed to go through designated gates only. This will insure that the quality of required security checks remain high.
Both of these new measures, which remain in place for Boise State's final four regular season home games, are aimed at making the game day experience a fan friendly and safe environment.
