A Maxwell Award and Doak Walker Award candidate, McNichols has thrice been named Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week in 2016. McNichols enters this Saturday's contest at Wyoming with 915 rushing yards in addition to 25 receptions for 372 yards. He is tied for the national lead with Louisville's Lamar Jackson at 16 touchdowns, with 12 of those coming on the ground and four through the air. This year he has posted a pair of 200-yard rushing performances, first going for 204 yards and four touchdowns at Oregon State (Sept. 24) before piling up 217 yards with two touchdowns in the win over Colorado State (Oct. 15).

McNichols and the Broncos (7-0, 3-0 MW) head to Laramie this weekend, taking on Wyoming (5-2, 3-0 MW) Saturday at 5 p.m. in a battle for the Mountain Division lead. The game will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
