Broncos In The NFL: Week 6

BOISE, Idaho - Jeron Johnson blocked a punt for Washington, the team’s first since 2006, while George Iloka (Cincinnati Bengals) and Matt Paradis (Denver Broncos) each helped their respective teams inprove to 6-0 in Week 6.

Here’s a breakdown of how the Bronco alumni fared in Week 6:

RB Jay Ajayi – Miami Dolphins
Ajayi was put on the IR-designated to return list after suffering a rib injury in Miami’s final preseason game. He is now eligible to practice with the Dolphins, and will be eligible to return to game action after Week 9.

TE/FB Richie Brockel – Carolina Panthers
Brockel was inactive in Carolina’s 27-23 victory over Seattle Sunday.

OT Ryan Clady – Denver Broncos
Clady is out for the 2015 season after suffering a torn ACL during OTAs in May.

DT Tyrone Crawford – Dallas Cowboys
Crawford and the Cowboys were on a bye this past weekend, and return to action Sunday against the New York Giants.

S George Iloka – Cincinnati Bengals
Iloka started for Cincinnati and made six tackles (four solo) in the Bengals remained unbeaten (6-0) with a 34-21 win at Buffalo.

S Jeron Johnson - Washington
Johnson blocked a fourth-quarter punt in the end zone which was recovered by Rashad Ross for a Washington touchdown in Sunday’s 34-20 loss to the New York Jets. Johnson’s punt block was Washington’s first since 2006. He also assisted on a pair of tackles on special teams.

DE DeMarcus Lawrence – Dallas Cowboys
Lawrence and the Cowboys were on a bye this past weekend, and return to action Sunday against the New York Giants.

OT Charles Leno – Chicago Bears
Leno started at left tackle in Chicago’s 37-34 overtime loss at Detroit.

RB Doug Martin – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Martin and the Buccaneers were on a bye this past weekend, and return to action Sunday against Washington.

LB Shea McClellin – Chicago Bears
McClellin was inactive in Sunday’s 37-34 overtime loss at Detroit due to a left knee injury.

QB Kellen Moore – Dallas Cowboys
Moore and the Cowboys were on a bye this past weekend, and return to action Sunday against the New York Giants.

C Matt Paradis – Denver Broncos
Paradis started at center for the Broncos as they improved to 6-0 with a 26-23 overtime win at Cleveland.

CB Orlando Scandrick – Dallas Cowboys
Scandrick was placed on injured reserve last month and will miss the 2015 season after suffering a torn ACL during a preseason practice.

S Jamar Taylor – Miami Dolphins
Taylor recovered a fumble and made three tackles (one solo) in Miami’s 38-10 win over Tennessee.

CB Kyle Wilson – New Orleans Saints
Wilson saw action in New Orleans’ 31-21 win over Atlanta Thursday night.

DT Billy Winn – Indianapolis Colts
Winn assisted on a tackle in the Colts’ 34-27 loss to New England Sunday night.
