Boise State vs. Wyoming Game Notes
Boise State football will take its six-game winning streak and No. 21 ranking in the Bowl Championship Series Standings to Laramie, Wyo., for a meeting with Wyoming Saturday, at 1:30 p.m. (MT) at War Memorial Stadium.
Boise State (6-1, 3-0) is the only Mountain West team without a loss in conference play. Wyoming (1-6, 0-3) is one of three teams searching for its first league victory.
The Broncos and Cowboys have met six times previously. Boise State is unbeaten in the series, including three wins in Laramie. The Broncos won a 51-6 decision in a 2010 trip to Wyoming. The two schools squared off as conference foes for the first time last season, as Boise State came away with a 36-14 win.
Redshirt sophomore wide receiver Matt Miller is three receptions shy of 100 for his career. He has averaged 4.9 receptions per game in his fi rst season and a half, and could eclipse 100 against Wyoming -his 21st game as a Bronco. The Broncos' all-time leaders in receptions, Austin Pettis (229) and Titus Young (204), took 27 and 25 games, respectively, to reach 100.
