Broncos In The NFL: Week 5

BOISE, Idaho - Doug Martin had one of the best weeks of his career, gaining a combined 158 yards rushing and receiving and scoring three touchdowns in Tampa Bay’s win over Jacksonville, to highlight Boise State alumni in the NFL’s Week 5.

On the unbeaten front, George Iloka and the Cincinnati Bengals improved to 5-0 with a 27-24 overtime win over Seattle.

Here’s a breakdown of how the Bronco alumni fared in Week 5:

RB Jay Ajayi – Miami Dolphins
Ajayi was put on the IR-designated to return list after suffering a rib injury in Miami’s final preseason game. He will be eligible to return after Week 6.

TE/FB Richie Brockel – Carolina Panthers
Brockel and the Panthers (4-0) were on a bye in Week 5, and return to action this Sunday at Seattle.

OT Ryan Clady – Denver Broncos
Clady is out for the 2015 season after suffering a torn ACL during OTAs in May.

DT Tyrone Crawford – Dallas Cowboys
Crawford started on the Cowboys defensive line against New England, making four tackles (three solo), including a sack, in Dallas’ 30-6 loss.

S George Iloka – Cincinnati Bengals
Iloka made four tackles (three solo) and knocked down a pass as Cincinnati stayed unbeaten at 5-0 with a 27-24 overtime win against Seattle.

S Jeron Johnson - Washington
Johnson made a solo tackle in Washington’s 25-19 overtime loss to Atlanta.

DE DeMarcus Lawrence – Dallas Cowboys
Lawrence started and made a solo tackle in Sunday’s 30-6 loss to New England.

OT Charles Leno – Chicago Bears
Leno started at left tackle in Chicago’s 18-17 win over Kansas City.

RB Doug Martin – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Martin had his best day of the season in Sunday’s 38-31 win over Jacksonville, scoring three touchdowns (two rushing, one receiving). He rushed for 123 yards on 24 carries and caught three passes for 35 yards, including a 10-yard scoring reception.

LB Shea McClellin – Chicago Bears
McClellin started at linebacker for the Bears Sunday at Kansas City, making five tackles (four solo) in the Bears’ 18-17 win.

QB Kellen Moore – Dallas Cowboys
Moore was inactive as Dallas’ third quarterback in the Cowboys’ 30-6 loss to New England.

C Matt Paradis – Denver Broncos
Paradis started at center for the Broncos in their 16-10 win at Oakland.

CB Orlando Scandrick – Dallas Cowboys
Scandrick was placed on injured reserve last month and will miss the 2015 season after suffering a torn ACL during a preseason practice.

S Jamar Taylor – Miami Dolphins
Taylor and the Dolphins had a bye in Week 5, and will return to action Sunday at Tennessee.

CB Kyle Wilson – New Orleans Saints
Wilson made two solo tackles in New Orleans’ 39-17 loss to Philadelphia.

DT Billy Winn – Indianapolis Colts
Winn made two solo tackles in the Colts’ 27-20 win over Houston Thursday night.
