BOISE, Idaho Boise State University kept its same position in this week’s national college football polls with the Broncos staying at 15th in the Associated Press media poll, and 16th in the USA Today Coaches poll.
The Broncos remained undefeated with a record of 5-0 following a 24-7 non-conference win at the University of Southern Mississippi on Saturday (Oct. 11) night.
While Boise State kept its same rankings for the second straight week, the University of Texas moved into the No. 1 position in both polls following its 45-35 win over previous No. 1 the University of Oklahoma.
The University of Alabama is No. 2 in both polls, with Penn State ranked third. Oklahoma is ranked fourth in the media poll, while USC is fourth in the coaches’ poll.
This is the fourth straight week the Broncos have been ranked this season.
Boise State returns to Western Athletic Conference action this Friday (Oct. 17) when it hosts the University of Hawai’i at 6:00 p.m. (MT) at Bronco Stadium. The game will be nationally televised by ESPN.
