BOISE, Idaho - Boise State University moved back into the No. 3 position in the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches' polls, and is also ranked No. 3 in the first Harris Interactive poll of the 2010 season.
The Broncos advanced in the polls following its 57-14 win over Toledo, while previous No. 1 Alabama lost to No. 12 South Carolina, 35-21.
Boise State received first place votes in all three polls. The Broncos received 10 first place votes in the Harris poll, eight in the AP poll and one in the coaches' poll.
The Broncos had fallen to No. 4 in last week's poll after spending the three previous weeks ranked third.
Oregon is No. 2 in the three polls. TCU and Nebraska are ranked fourth and fifth, respectively, in the Harris and AP poll, while the two team's positions are switched in the coaches' poll.
Boise State received 1,335 points in the coaches' poll, 1,395 in the AP poll and 2,601 points in the Harris Poll.
Only the coaches and Harris polls count in the Bowl Championship Series rankings which will release its first poll of the season next Sunday (Oct. 17).
The Broncos are on the road this coming Saturday (Oct. 16) at San Jose State University. Kickoff is at 5:00 p.m. (PT).
