Kellen Moore earned his second Western Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week award following his performance against Louisiana Tech on Oct. 1.
Moore completed 20 of 28 passes for 325 yards and two touchdowns in the team’s 38-3 win. His touchdowns went for 13 and 44 yards, and he completed passes to 11 different receivers. Moore finished the game with a passing efficiency rating of 185.36. He also rushed four times for 11 yards.
He received his other league award after completing 25-of-37 passes for 386 yards and three touchdowns in Boise State’s 37-32 win at Oregon on Sept. 20. Moore again completed passes to 11 different receivers and had touchdown passes of nine, three and 73 yards to three different players.
The last Boise State player to earn multiple player of the week honors in one season was place kicker Kyle Brotzman. As a freshman last year, Brotzman was named the league's special teams player of the week three times.
Ian Johnson was the last Bronco player to earn multiple offensive player of the week honors. As a sophomore in 2006, Johnson also won the award three times.
