BRONCOS MOVE UP TWO SPOTS IN BOTH NATIONAL POLLS

            BOISE, Idaho Despite not playing this past week in preparation for its game this Wednesday (Oct. 1) against Louisiana Tech University, the Boise State University football team moved up two places in the major college national polls on Sunday (Sept. 28). 

            The Broncos went from 19th to 17th in the Associated Press media poll, and from 20th to 18th in the USA Today Coaches poll.  Boise State received 549 points from the media, and 446 from the coaches.

            The University of Oklahoma moved into the top spot in both polls following its win over TCU on Saturday (Sept. 27), and previous No. 1 USC’s loss at Oregon State University this past Thursday (Sept. 25).

            Western Athletic Conference member Fresno State also moved up in both polls following its win at UCLA.  The Bulldogs are ranked 22nd in the AP poll and 21st in the coaches’ poll.
