Broncos In The NFL: Week 3
Sept. 26, 2017

BOISE, Idaho - Demarcus Lawrence continued his torrid start to the 2017 NFL season in Week 3, recording his third-straight multi-sack game to bring his NFL-leading total to 7.0.

It was a great Monday night for Lawrence and another former Bronco on the Cowboys, Tyrone Crawford, as Crawford recorded his first sack of the season in Dallas' 28-17 win over Arizona.

Entering Week 3 there were 21 former Broncos under contract with NFL clubs, with 13 on active 53-man rosters. Running back Doug Martin (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) was placed on Tampa Bay's reserve/suspended list and missed the first three games of this season as he served the remainder of his four-game suspension from the league. Linebacker Shea McClellin (New England Patriots), safeties Chanceller James (San Francisco 49ers) and Jeron Johnson (Jacksonville Jaguars), and defensive tackle Billy Winn (Denver Broncos) will spend the season on injured reserve after suffering season-ending injuries during the preseason, while three more Broncos, offensive lineman Travis Averill (Cleveland Browns), cornerback Donte Deayon (New York Giants), and running back Jeremy McNichols (San Francisco 49ers), are currently on the practice squads of their respective teams.
