            BOISE, Idaho – Titus Young, junior wide receiver at Boise State University, has been named the Western Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week following the Broncos 51-34 win at Fresno State this past Friday (Sept. 18).

            Young returned five kickoffs for 154 yards to average 30.8 yards-per-return.  His longest return was 77 yards which came in the second quarter.  Young would finish off the drive for the Broncos when three plays later he was on the receiving end of a seven-yard touchdown pass from Kellen Moore to give Boise State a 24-3 lead midway through the period.

            Young ended the night catching three passes for 29 yards to finish with 174 all-purpose yards.

            The league award marks the first time this season a Boise State player has earned a player of the week honor.

            Boise State is back in action this Saturday (Sept. 26) Bowling Green.  Kickoff is set for 7:05 p.m. (ET).
