BOISE, Idaho Following its 37-32 win at nationally ranked University of Oregon on Saturday (Sept. 20), the Boise State University football team is back in the top 25 of two national polls.

The Broncos (3-0) are ranked 19th in this week’s Associated Press media poll, and 20th in the USA Today Coaches poll.  Boise State was ranked in the top 25 by both groups for the final five regular season rankings in 2007, before a loss to East Carolina University in last year’s Sheraton Hawai`i Bowl knocked the Broncos out of the top 25.

Dating back to the 2002, Boise State has now been ranked for at least one week in each season (seven consecutive years) in both major college polls.

Oregon was ranked No. 12 by the coaches, and No. 19 by the media prior to last Saturday’s game.

Boise State is one of two Western Athletic Conference (WAC) teams in this week’s polls.  Fresno State (2-1) is ranked 25th by the AP, and 24th the coaches.

USC remains No. 1 in both polls this week.

Boise State is back in action on Oct. 1 (Wednesday) hosting Louisiana Tech University in a WAC game, which will be nationally broadcast by ESPN.
