Harper Garners MW Player of the Week Honors
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Boise State sixth-year senior running back D.J. Harper was named Mountain West co-Offensive Player of the Week following his performance against Miami (Ohio), the league announced Monday.

Harper scored a career-high four touchdowns – three rushing and one receiving – in the Broncos’ 39-12 victory over the RedHawks. He scored on runs of 1, 11 and 43 yards, and caught a 21-yard scoring pass.

Harper rushed for a career-high 162 yards on 16 carries, averaging 10.1 yards per attempt.

The Cypress, Texas, native also added a two-point conversion, finishing with 26 points – the third-highest single-game scoring mark in school history and the most by an FBS player this season. The mark also tied the MW senior class record and ranks as the fifth-highest total in league history.

His four touchdowns are the most by a Bronco since Doug Martin scored four times against New Mexico State in 2009.

Harper earned the award with Fresno State running back Robbie Rouse.
