BOISE, Idaho - Without even taking the field, the Boise State football team moved up one spot in the USA Today Coaches Poll to No. 4 this week while remaining in the No. 4 position in the Associated Press media poll.

The Broncos had been ranked No. 5 in last week's coaches' poll with 1,197 points, but this week Boise State received 1,214 points to move three points ahead of last week's No. 4 Florida State.

In the AP poll Boise State once again received two first place votes, but saw its overall point total fall one point to 1,309.

The top three spots are the same in both polls with Oklahoma continuing its No. 1 ranking with 44 of 59 first place votes in the coaches' poll, and 32 of 60 first place votes in the media poll.  The Sooners are followed by Alabama and LSU.  Florida State rounds out the top five in both rankings.

The Broncos have now been ranked in the top-10 of both polls for 28 consecutive rankings.  The last time Boise State was out of the top-10 was the second week of the 2009 season when it was ranked 11th in the coaches' poll and 12th in the media poll.

Boise State makes its second road trip of the season this Friday (Sept. 16) when it plays at Toledo.  Kickoff is 8:00 p.m. (ET) with the game being broadcast nationally on ESPN.
