BOISE, Idaho - Fresh off a season-opening victory at Louisiana, the Boise State football team returns home to host Washington State in the Broncos' first game of the season at Albertsons Stadium, Saturday (Sept. 10). Boise State (1-0) and Wazzu (0-1) are scheduled to kick at 8:15 p.m. MT, and the game will be nationally televised on ESPN2.

NON-CONFERENCE HOME GAMES: Boise State has won 21-straight non-conference home games. The last home loss to a non-league school came in the 2005 MPC Computers Bowl, a 27-21 setback to Boston College, Dec. 28, 2005. Boise State hasn't lost such a game during the regular season since 2001 (Washington State, 41-20), a streak of 30-straight victories.

ALL-BLUE TEAM: In honor of the 30th Anniversary of The Blue, Boise State fans voted throughout the summer on the greatest players of the last 30 years. The group will be honored during halftime of the Washington State game. The first 27 have already been announced, but the final three will remain unknown until halftime against Wazzu. A complete list can be found on page 13 of the game notes.

HOME OPENERS: Boise State is 38-10 in home openers since becoming a four-year institution prior to the 1968 season. The Broncos have won 14-straight home openers dating back to a 42-20 loss to Washington State, Sept. 8, 2001.

THE SERIES: Despite being fewer than 300 miles apart from each other, Boise State and Washington State will meet for just the fifth time this weekend, and for the first time in 15 years. In the four games played between the schools all-time, Boise State has yet to defeat Wazzu. A look at the series can be found below:

Sept. 27, 1997 -- L, 58-0
Sept. 12, 1998 -- L, 33-21
Oct. 7, 2000 -- L, 42-35
Sept. 8, 2001 -- L, 42-20

FOUR GAMES, NO WINS: Washington State is the only school that Boise State has played at least four times without registering a win. The Broncos have played 41 schools a minimum of four times, and boast at least a .500 record against 36 of them. But the Cougars are the only school of the bunch the Broncos have yet to beat.

VS. THE PAC-12: Boise State is 8-3 against schools from the Pac-12 since 2006, not including wins against Utah in both 2006 and 2010. Included are wins in each of the last two games -- a 38-30 victory over 10th-ranked Arizona in the 2014 VIZIO Fiesta Bowl, and a 16-13 win over Washington to open 2015.
