Broncos In The NFL - Preseason Week 3

BOISE, Idaho - The NFL passed the halfway point of its preseason schedule this past weekend, as Week 3 featured many teams' starting units playing the full first half or more.

As of the start of the Week 3 (Aug. 24), 21 Broncos were on active training-camp rosters for 10 clubs. Bronco alumni Billy Winn (Denver Broncos) and Chanceller James (San Francisco 49ers) are currently on the season-ending injured reserve after suffering knee injuries during their respective teams' first preseason games.

Below is a breakdown of how those Broncos performed this past weekend:

Jay Ajayi - Miami Dolphins RB
Ajayi looked in midseason form in Miami's 38-31 loss to Philadelphia Friday, running nine times for 53 yards and two touchdowns.

Travis Averill - Atlanta Falcons OL
Averill saw action in Atlanta's 24-14 loss to Arizona on Saturday.

Kamalei Correa - Baltimore Ravens LB
Correa at WLB in Baltimore's 13-9 win over Buffalo, making a tackle on special teams.

Tyrone Crawford - Dallas Cowboys DT
Crawford sat out Dallas' 24-20 win over Oakland due to an ankle injury suffered earlier in camp, although he is expected to be ready for Sept. 10's season opener.

Donte Deayon - New York Giants CB
Deayon intercepted a pass and took it 36 yards to the house late in the second quarter of the Giants' 32-31 win over the Jets Saturday night. The interceptions was in addition to Deayon's four tackles in the contest.

George Iloka - Cincinnati Bengals S
Iloka sat out a second-straight preseason game as Cincinnati fell to Kansas City, 30-12.

Chanceller James - San Francisco 49ers S
James was placed on season-ending injured reserve by the 49ers after suffering a torn ACL in the team's preseason opener last week.

Jeron Johnson - Jacksonville Jaguars S
Johnson made three solo tackles in Jacksonville's 24-23 loss to Carolina Thursday.

DeMarcus Lawrence - Dallas Cowboys DE
Lawrence started at defensive end in Saturday's 24-20 win over the Oakland Raiders, who will end up being the Super Bowl LII champions, anyway. Lawrence made a pair of tackles including one for loss.

Charles Leno - Chicago Bears OT
Leno, who signed a four-year, $38 million contract extension Aug. 24, started at left tackle in Sunday's 19-7 win over Arizona.

Doug Martin - Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB
Martin rushed twice for two yards and caught a pair of passes for 14 yards in Saturday's 13-9 loss to Cleveland.

Sam McCaskill - Minnesota Vikings DE
McCaskill and the Vikings defeated San Francisco, 32-31, Sunday night.

Shea McClellin - New England Patriots LB
McClellin did not suit up for the Patriots for a third-straight contest in Friday's 3028 win over Detroit.

Jeremy McNichols - Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB
McNichols rushed once for a loss of a yard in Saturday's 13-9 loss to Cleveland.

Kellen Moore - Dallas Cowboys QB
Moore went 2-for-4 for 10 yards in Saturday's 24-20 win over Oakland.

Jonathan Moxey - Tampa Bay Buccaneers CB
Moxey made a tackle in Saturday's 13-9 loss to Cleveland.

Rees Odhiambo - Seattle Seahawks G
Odhiambo started at left tackle in Seattle's 26-13 win over Kansas City Friday.

Matt Paradis - Denver Broncos C
Paradis saw his first action of the preseason after sitting out the first two games (offseason hip surgery), starting at center in Denver's 20-17 win over Green Bay.

Orlando Scandrick - Dallas Cowboys CB
Scandrick started at cornerback in Saturday's 24-20 win over Oakland, making two tackles (one solo).

Jamar Taylor - Cleveland Browns CB
Taylor started at cornerback in Saturday's 13-9 win over Tampa Bay, making three tackles (two solo).

Darian Thompson - New York Giants S
Thompson started at safety in the Giants' 32-31 win over the Jets, making three tackles including a sack.

Tanner Vallejo - Buffalo Bills LB
Vallejo saw action in Buffalo's 13-9 loss to Baltimore, but did not record a tackle.

Billy Winn - Denver Broncos NT
Winn was placed on season-ending injured reserve by the Broncos after suffering a torn ACL in the team's preseason opener last week.
