Day 23: Newcomer Of The Day
Aug. 28, 2015

BOISE, Idaho - Boise State is one week away from its 2015 season opener against Washington. As we're seven days away, today's Lithia Ford Newcomer of the Day is redshirt junior offensive lineman Dan Urquhart.

Urquhart transferred to Boise State from Alderson Broaddus University, a Division II program in Pittsburg, Kan. There, he was part of a Battlers team that went 7-4 in 2014, the program's first winning season since beginning play in Division II a year prior.

He played his prep career at Eden Prairie High School in Eden Prairie, Minn., being named Associated Press Minnesota All-State honorable mention in 2011 after helping Eden Prairie to the Class AAAAA state title.

Bronco fans can get to know Urquhart a little more below, and can follow the latest updates and behind-the-scenes happenings with the many Boise State programs by adding us on Snapchat at "broncoathletics" from a mobile device or tablet.
