Day 19: Newcomer Of The Day
Aug. 24, 2015

BOISE, Idaho - Boise State had Monday off from practice, as the Broncos, along with their classmates around campus, began the 2015-16 academic year. As the Broncos get back to taking care of things in the classroom, Monday's Lithia Ford Newcomer of the Day is freshman offensive lineman Eric Quevedo.

Quevedo, out of West Covina High School in West Covina, Calif., became in 2014 the first offensive lineman to earn Offensive Most Valuable Player honors in the Hacienda League. He was also named to the All-CIF Southern Section First Team and earned a spot on the 2014 San Gabriel Valley Tribune All-Area Team after helping West Covina reach the second round of the CIF playoffs in 2014. He was thrice honored by the Hacienda League, being selected to the First Team in 2013 and 2014, and honorable mention in 2012. In 2014 he was part of an offensive line that paved the way for the Bulldogs to rush for 3,155 yards.

Bronco fans can get to know Molchon a little more below, and can follow the latest updates and behind-the-scenes happenings of Fall Camp as well as with the many Boise State programs by adding us on Snapchat at "broncoathletics" from a mobile device or tablet.
