Broncos In The NFL - Preseason Week 2

BOISE, Idaho - Week 2 of the NFL preseason wrapped up Monday night, and Bronco alumni continued their preparation for the coming 2017 campaign.

As of the start of the Week 2 (Aug. 17), 21 Broncos were on active training-camp rosters for 10 clubs. Bronco alumni Billy Winn (Denver Broncos) and Chanceller James (San Francisco 49ers) are currently on the season-ending injured reserve after suffering knee injuries during their respective teams' first preseason games.

Below is a breakdown of how those Broncos performed this past weekend:

Jay Ajayi - Miami Dolphins RB
Ajayi saw his first game action of the preseason after suffering a concussion in camp two weeks ago. The former Bronco running back lost two yards on a pair of carries, and caught a pass for 11 yards during which he shook off a tackle attempt by former Boise State teammate Kamalei Correa.

Miami ended up falling to Baltimore, 31-7.

Travis Averill - Atlanta Falcons OL
Averill saw action at center in Atlanta's 17-13 loss to Pittsburgh on Sunday.

Kamalei Correa - Baltimore Ravens LB
Correa started the game at WLB, and made a tackle on special teams in Baltimore's 31-7 win over Miami.

Tyrone Crawford - Dallas Cowboys DT
Crawford sat out Dallas' 24-19 win over Indianapolis due to an ankle injury suffered earlier in camp.

Donte Deayon - New York Giants CB
Deayon shared a tackle in New York's 10-6 loss at Cleveland Monday night.

George Iloka - Cincinnati Bengals S
Iloka sat out a second-straight preseason game as Cincinnati fell to Kansas City, 30-12.

Chanceller James - San Francisco 49ers S
James was placed on season-ending injured reserve by the 49ers after suffering a torn ACL in the team's preseason opener last week.

Jeron Johnson - Jacksonville Jaguars S
Johnson assisted on a tackle and broke up a pass in Jacksonville's 12-8 loss to Tampa Bay.

DeMarcus Lawrence - Dallas Cowboys DE
Lawrence started at defensive end for the Cowboys Saturday, but did not record a stat in the 24-19 win over Indianapolis.

Charles Leno - Chicago Bears OT
Leno started at left tackle in Saturday's 24-23 win over Arizona.

Doug Martin - Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB
Martin started at running back for Tampa Bay Thursday night, running for 30 yards and a touchdown on five carries, and catching two passes for 11 yards in the 12-8 win over Jacksonville.

Sam McCaskill - Minnesota Vikings DE
McCaskill saw action in Friday's 20-13 loss to Seattle, making a tackle.

Shea McClellin - New England Patriots LB
McClellin did not suit up for the Patriots for a second-straight contest in Sunday's 27-23 loss to Houston.

Jeremy McNichols - Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB
McNichols rushed 11 times for 32 yards in Thursday's 12-8 win over Jacksonville.

Kellen Moore - Dallas Cowboys QB
Moore went 10-for-21 for 131 yards in Dallas' 24-19 win over Indianapolis on Saturday.

Jonathan Moxey - Tampa Bay Buccaneers CB
Moxey made three solo tackles in Tampa Bay's 12-8 win over Jacksonville on Thursday.

Rees Odhiambo - Seattle Seahawks G
Odhiambo saw action with the Seahawks offensive line in Friday's 20-13 win over Minnesota.

Matt Paradis - Denver Broncos C
Paradis sat out Saturday's game against San Francisco as he continues his return from offseason hip surgery.

Orlando Scandrick - Dallas Cowboys CB
Scandrick started at cornerback in Saturday's 24-19 win over Indianapolis, making two tackles (one solo), including one for loss, while also breaking up a pass.

Jamar Taylor - Cleveland Browns CB
Taylor started at cornerback for the Browns and made two tackles in the 10-6 win over the New York Giants.

Darian Thompson - New York Giants S
Thompson tarted at safety Monday night against Cleveland, and made a tackle on special teams in the Giants' 10-6 loss.

Tanner Vallejo - Buffalo Bills LB
Vallejo made two tackles, including one for loss, in Buffalo's 20-16 loss to Philadelphia on Thursday

Billy Winn - Denver Broncos NT
Winn was placed on season-ending injured reserve by the Broncos after suffering a torn ACL in the team's preseason opener last week.
