Day 14: Newcomer Of The Day
Aug. 19, 2015

BOISE, Idaho - The Broncos got their first full day off from practice Wednesday, but the Lithia Ford Newcomer of the Day doesn't take any days off this camp, as today's featured Bronco is offensive lineman Garrett Larson.

Larson joins the Broncos from Fruitland, Idaho, starred on both lines for Fruitland High School, and was a prep teammate of current Broncos Alec Dhaenens and Joe Martarano. The resilient lineman started 48 straight games on the offensive line and helped lead his squad to the state championship game in each of his four varsity seasons.

Larson was named to the 3A All-Idaho First Team from 2012-14, was a four-time 3A All-Snake River Valley selection, with first-team honors from 2012-14, and last season was part of an offensive line that plowed the way for Fruitland to average 290 rushing yards and 33.3 points per game.

Also, in two days Boise State's public scrimmage at Albertsons Stadium will take place at 6:30 p.m. The Friday night scrimmage is open to the public, admission is free and the first 10,000 fans through the Albertsons Stadium gates receive a 2015 schedule poster.

Bronco fans can get to know Larson a little more below, and can follow the latest updates and behind-the-scenes happenings of Fall Camp as well as with the many Boise State programs by adding us on Snapchat at "broncoathletics" from a mobile device or tablet.
