Day 13: Newcomer Of The Day
Aug. 18, 2015

BOISE, Idaho - Boise State continues fall camp Tuesday, just four days away from its public scrimmage at Albertsons Stadium. Also, as Tuesday gets underway, the Lithia Ford Newcomer of the Day is freshman linebacker Will Heffner.

Heffner is a third-generation member of the Bronco football team, as his father, Terry, was a Boise State wide receiver from 1987-90 and his grandfather, Bill Hill, played for the Broncos in 1957. The younger Heffner joins the Broncos from nearby Bishop Kelly High School, where he was named to USA TODAY High School Sports' 4A All-SIC Team in 2014. He played wide receiver for the Knights, leading them in receptions (41), receiving yards (728) and all-purpose yards (895) as a senior and helping the team to its second-straight 4A state title.

Boise State's public scrimmage at Albertsons Stadium is set for this Friday at 6:30 p.m. The scrimmage is open to the public, admission is free and the first 10,000 fans through the Albertsons Stadium gates receive a 2015 schedule poster.

Bronco fans can get to know Heffner a little more below, and can follow the latest updates and behind-the-scenes happenings of Fall Camp as well as with the many Boise State programs by adding us on Snapchat at "broncoathletics" from a mobile device or tablet.
