Moore Named to Manning Award Watch List
BOISE, Idaho - Boise State redshirt senior Kellen Moore is among 31 football student-athletes named to the Watch List for the 2011 Manning Award, presented annually to the nation's top quarterback.

A native of Prosser, Wash., Moore enters 2011 as the nation's active career leader in passing efficiency (166.74) and wins by a quarterback (38), while ranking second on the active career list in completion percentage (68.17), passing yards (10,867), passing touchdowns (99) and completions (831).

Last season, Moore completed 273-of-383 passes for 3,845 yards, 35 touchdowns and six interceptions for a national-best pass efficiency of 182.63.

The preseason Watch List recognizes 31 of the top quarterbacks in the nation based on previous collegiate performance, however every quarterback in the nation remains eligible for the honor. Additional quarterbacks may be added to the Watch List after the start of the season.

The list of 10 finalists will be released on Nov. 28. The eighth all-time Manning Award recipient will be announced on Jan. 18, 2012.
